How to play: Snake
The controls
Use arrows, WASD, direction buttons or swipe the board. In Classic, press Resume to begin. In Step by step, each arrow or Advance moves one cell. Both modes can be paused.
A little strategy
Leave room to turn: you cannot reverse direction in one move. Classic gradually gets faster; Step by step lets you set the pace. Each mode keeps its own personal best.
Do I need an account?
No. Play for free. Games and statistics are stored only in your browser.
Where is my progress saved?
In this browser’s local storage. It is not sent to a server or synced between devices. Clearing browser data or using private browsing may remove it.
