The board with two missing corners
Remove the top-left and bottom-right corners of an 8 × 8 board. Can 31 dominoes cover the remaining 62 squares? Each domino covers two edge-adjacent squares and cannot overlap. Try the board, then build an argument deciding whether it is possible.
